Krung-krung

Couldn't sleep last night. After an hour-long 10-pesos-all-you-want-NDD-call to Sheila in Manila, I turned on my laptop and started typing away responses to unreplied emails. An hour later, still couldn't sleep, decided to channel surf. Ended up at Channel 2 where Feng Shui was being shown. Excellent movie to watch on a late night. Good story line, bad acting. Nevertheless, good.

Advertisements came and went. Was half focusing on the TV and on my Adobe Acrobat document (Alcott's Little Women) when I caught an ad saying, "Sandara: Ang Pambansang Krung-krung ng Pilipinas" (or something like that).

Krung-krung? What the fuck???

Yeah, I don't get it either. "Krung-krung." Where the hell did they get that?

I don't know where that network gets its creative team.
