Ko-Koro-Koko

Public serbis announsment lang po...

KORO ILUSTRADO, a Makati City-based ALL-MALE choral ensemble is now accepting applications for new members. The singing group was formed in October 2007 and is still open for additional male singers (i.e. counter tenors, tenors, baritones and basses). Members can look forward to singing engagements, concerts and choral competitions here and abroad. Although previous choral singing experience is preferred, it is not required. However, all members must be able to sight-read musical scores, or at least appreciate the "logic" in the counting, progression and notes positioning in such scores. Finally, members are expected to attend weekly practice every Saturday afternoon. If you are interested, please contact Adel at adeltuason@yahoo.com or through +63-927-889-3215. Hope to hear from you soon!

Poke Mo!

MASS POKE?

WTF? Brings images of weirdness to mind...*shivers* And while I'm at it, I totally dislike being poked. It's just like saying "pssst" to me from across the hall.

Poke poke poke. Argh.

Chicken or The Egg?

Damn-nation.

Totally slipped my mind that it's Ash Wednesday today...and meat--in all its forms--is not allowed (Now, now, Babe, you can't come to my place tonite...bawal ang laman, hala! Hahahahaha). I realize that after I got to my desk this morning, and about to deposit my lunchbox at the Reinsurance "common" refrigerator. And I made Chicken-Shiitake with Oyster and Teriyaki Sauce pa naman for my lunch! (This, as well as Fried Crabmeat Dumpling Surprise with Mayo-Mustard Dipping Sauce, was sampled by friend Davey at the condo last night...and he says he liked it. Another satisfied customer!)

Now, tell me, you purist, hard-core Catholics...if I ate an Egg and Cheese Sandwich for breakfast, does that qualify me as a practitioner of Abstinence (from meat, that is), at least just for today?
